I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For by U2
Opinion: I lost my grandfather before I was even born. I hear all these stories about how he was, eventhough he was a very tempered man, he was hard working, incredibly smart, stubborn as hell and the most kind/gentil man. I feel I’ve missed out so much on him and his life and his incredible accomplishments. I think about him every single day and I cry everytime someone starts talking about him. I know most people find it really stupid that I get this emotional because I never got to meet him but I still feel a connection and a void in my heart. This song always makes me think of all the good times i could’ve had, the amazing memories and how empty I feel when I think about it. The words “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for” fit perfectly because I, everyday, try to find a replacement for all those memories I could have and to this day I haven’t found a replacement. I guess my grandpa is too good to be replaced :(
